Embarking on internships in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in foreign countries can be both challenging and immensely fulfilling, as experienced by the eight students from the Department of Social Work. During the sharing session, these students had the opportunity to recount their unique experiences and insights gained from their overseas internships.
Recognizing the significance of such internships, the IAO was invited to provide valuable remarks and guidance on effectively preparing for an overseas internship. We covered areas such as cultural adaptation, logistical arrangements, and professional expectations, ensuring that future students are well-prepared and equipped for their own overseas internship endeavors.
