Celebrating the strong relationships with our internship partners, the Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) welcomed them to the campus for the “Hong Kong Shue Yan University Faculty of Commerce Internship Partners Get-together” on 16 April 2025 (Wednesday). The event was joined by faculty members from the Departments of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Finance, and Law and Business.
This delightful gathering served as a platform for HKSYU academics and industry partners to meet and network. It also provided students from the Faculty of Commerce with a valuable opportunity to engage in conversations with industry professionals.
The get-together began with a warm welcome from Dr Jason Chow, Vice President (University Administration) of HKSYU. He noted that in the previous academic year, near 800 students undertook internships at 469 companies and organisations, and expected this number to rise further. He also said internships benefit students, companies and society.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to employers at the event. In addition, 10 students were honoured with the Outstanding Internship Award, recognising their exemplary internship performance.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our internship partners for their support throughout the years. We look forward to continued collaborations with them to nurture the growth of our young talents.
